I have been deducted before my journey. Why?

A pre-authorisation is carried out when adding a new payment method in order to validate the credit card with your bank, as a security measure.

The transaction is automatically cancelled as soon as it has been validated. However, it may continue to appear as "being processed" for 24 working hours before disappearing without any final debit. This prevents fraudulent use of a credit card by a third party.

Most of the time, this operation does not appear on your bank statement.

If this transaction is displayed on your bank account: This is a pre-authorisation which will be cancelled automatically or offset by a credit line on your bank account.

If you use a deferred debit card, this transaction may be displayed for longer.
