Does Marcel allow animals on board vehicles?
Marcel accepts small dogs in a bag or carrier at no extra charge and only if the following conditions are met:
- It is important to specify the presence of an animal in the “comment to the driver” section so that the drivers assigned to your journey can be informed (to leave a comment, click “options” at the bottom right after choosing the range of vehicle required for your journey).
- Transport the animal in a crate, bag or carrier that is clean and odour-free.
Marcel accepts medium-sized dogs for journeys booked in advance, at an additional cost of €20.
- You need to request it by phone on +33 (0)1 70 95 14 15 . Our customer service team is available 24/7 when you book your journey.
- To guarantee the availability of this service, you must request it at least 24 hours before the start of your journey. Any request made after this time will not be taken into account.
Assistance dogs (blind, visually impaired) are of course accepted in all our vehicles at no extra charge. Nevertheless, make sure to specify this information in the “comment to the driver” section when booking (to leave a comment, click “options” at the bottom right after choosing the range of vehicle required for your journey).
⚠️ Please note
- A cleaning fee will be applied should the vehicle be damaged or soiled.
- As drivers are not obliged to accept journeys with animals, failure to comply with the above steps may result in the driver refusing to meet your request. The journey may be cancelled, in which case cancellation fees will be charged to compensate the driver.
